Victorious Life is committed to being a missional church that applies the Gospel to all aspects of community development and service. Arise and Build Community Ministries, a not-for-profit charitable corporation, was established to serve as the local missions arm of the church.

The mission of Arise and Build is to direct a wide array of Christian community development programs and services to help meet the varied needs of urban households. Founded in 1999, Arise and Build is the covering organization for the Alight Care Center, Provisions Community Food and Storehouse, Edify Young Adult Ministry, His Table and Women of Valor. Arise and Build Community Ministries is a member of the

Christian Community Development Association (CCDA), a national network of churches and ministries seeking to mobilize Christians and resources to renew our inner-city communities.

  • Celebrate Recovery

    Celebrate Recovery (CR) at Victorious Life is for anyone who has a hurt, hang-up or habit which blocks them from living a fully surrendered life in Christ. It is also for those who wish to help heal the broken.

    His Table Community Meal serves a free community dinner, a gospel message from the Bible and prayer. Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 pm.

    The Provisions Community Food and Storehouse stocks and distributes food acquired from the Regional Food Bank and through private donations for sharing with families in need. Provisions is operated for charitable purposes and is run by a group of faithful volunteers each week. Provisions serves over a thousand households in the city of Troy and its environs and has been in operation for over twenty years.

    ultrasound van

    Arise and Build's Mobile Ultrasound Van is operated in partnership with CompassCare Pregnancy Services. Our core mission is to empower every woman at the point of decision to choose life for her unborn baby. CompassCare offers a wide array of support services FREE of charge, which are compassionate and non-judgmental; include accurate information; and provide practical assistance, as well as referrals to community resources.   https://www.compasscare.info/

    Edify is a post-college young adult ministry (ages 22-34) whose mission is to encourage young Christians towards a life of serving Jesus Christ by way of community, discipleship, service, and discovering their spiritual gifts. 

  • troy unplugged

    Troy Unplugged is a monthly open mic music venue open to all ages, genres and skill levels. Our aim is to build a local network of singer-songwriters and musicians desiring to hone their craft in an encouraging, community setting.
